Hilton, KZN, Fri 2- Sun 4 April 2010

The Fox Hilton Experience is a 3 day stage race located in some of SA’s best true mountainbiking terrain – Hilton just outside Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal. It will run during school Easter holidays from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 April 2010.

The biggest difference to any other stage race in KZN is that competitors will sleep in luxury by arranging their own accommodation at local B&B’s and Guest houses in the area (there will be limited camping facilities available). The entire event will be staged at the Laddsworth School in Hilton with every day starting and finishing there.

From the race venue shops & pubs are walking & cycling distance away.

The field is limited to a maximum of 200 x 2 person teams with each team receiving 2 quality Fox cycling jerseys, worth R900, at race registration.

Day 1 consists of a 40km “prologue”, Day 2: 60km & Day 3: 40km. Riding will be mainly on single track, jeep track and on forest trails - every day will be in a different route.

Every morning riders will be able to have a complimentary cup of coffee and a muffin before heading off and will receive a cool drink and Chelsea bun/doughnut after finishing each day. A quick rider prizegiving will take place daily at 5pm, before the next day route profile and rider briefing. There will also be lucky draw prizes daily.

A bike wash, mechanical service and secure “over night” bike park will be available. Full accommodation listings available via the website.
